Wave 105’s Andy Jackson saddles up

To mark the launch of the 2009 British Beach Polo Championships, Wave 105’s teatime presenter, Andy Jackson took to the saddle in Sandbanks to receive a polo lesson from professional polo-player Jack Kidd, brother of supermodel Jodie.

Jack Kidd announced at the launch that he will enter a celebrity team to the 2009 Championships which consists of himself, his catwalk superstar sister and Jamie Morrison, son of the late Bryan Morrison, former manager of Pink Floyd.

The British Beach Polo Championships 2009 are in association with Sunseeker and take place in Sandbanks, Poole on Friday July 10 and Saturday July 11.  Rival teams from England and the USA will go head to head in an international polo match for the first time ever on British sand.

Wave 105 is an official media partner of the Championships and Andy Jackson has been invited back to take part in July.
