Photography pupils at West Moors Middle School in Dorset have triumphed in the Rotary Club Environmental Photography competition.
Open to young people in the Ferndown area, West Moors students came first at club level, and went on to win the district level too, covering parts of Hampshire, Dorset, the Isle of Wight and Channel Islands. One student won through to national level and is competing against the top photographers throughout the UK and Ireland.
Objectives of competition are to help young people to experiment with photography showing interpretation of the environment using either digital or traditional methods.
