Sixteen boarders and house staff from Moyles Court School took part in the annual New Forest Spring Clean on the 14 March. They cleaned the immediate area around Moyles Court, the ford, sandpit and car park area. This is the second year they have been involved in the Spring Clean and once again the usual plastic bottles, disposable nappies and cartons were collected. In addition some more unusual items were found, including a car radiator and part of a car bumper. Six bags of rubbish were collected in total, slightly less than last year so hopefully the message of keeping the Forest tidy is slowly getting through. The pupils show a keen interest in keeping the beautiful environment around their school clean and tidy, and they intend to continue supporting the annual Spring Clean in future years.
If you wish to be involved in the annual Spring Clean please visit the New Forest District Council website: www.newforest.gov.uk/springclean.
