Wimborne Folk Festival this weekend
Wimborne Folk Festival is a weekend of the very best in traditional English and Celtic music and dance.
It will take place in and around the town this weekend from Friday 11 until Sunday 13 June and consists of a variety of events such as concerts, ceilidhs, dance displays, market stalls, workshops and childrens’ entertainers.
This year the 'Boundary Marquee' which used to be situated on the cricket field in Wimborne (where Waitrose is being built) has moved and changed its name. The new 'Party in the Paddock' will be situated just off Poole Road.
