Wimborne’s changing beauty
The popular Wimborne in Bloom art and poetry competitions for adults and schools were on the theme of ‘Wimborne’s changing beauty.’ Entrants rose to the challenge, highlighting many changes that have taken place in the town.
Frances Shearing, artist and teacher, undertook the judging of the adult competitions, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Wimborne judged the schools’ competition.
Prizes will be presented at Allenbourn Middle School on 18 September. The art entries are on display at Wimborne Library until 16 July, and St George’s Chapel until 17 July.
