A traditional Italian market held in the Dorset town of Wimborne Minster attracted hundreds of people on Sunday. Organised by the Wimborne and District Chamber of Trade and held in the town's square, the busy stalls plied their wares. Olives, fresh parmesan, sausages, focaccia, olive oils, pasta, nougat and Italian snacks. Judging by the number of Italians turning up to buy the produce, it was a much sought after market in the area.
Chamber chairperson, Diann Marsh said, “I am very pleased with the response. I was slightly worried with it being planned for a Sunday, but the number of people visiting has been very rewarding and we are looking into running it again next year.”
