Wimborne’s spirit is undefeated

Following the devastating fire that tore through the heart of Wimborne last summer, the town has reacted by creating a beautiful mural to replace the dull grey hoardings that surrounded the rebuilding works.

 

The launch of the vibrant mural called ‘The Spirit of Wimborne’ took place on Monday, 23 November in the town centre.

The acclaimed Dorset artist who completed the mural, Terry Whitworth and his partner Lenschen Laffin, joined with the town mayor, the chairman of the Chamber of Trade and many sponsors for a photo shoot.
