Wimborne was lucky to see the lights at Christmas

Wimborne Town Council’s CCTV camera in the Square captured a vandal red handed in the early hours of Saturday 19 December as he damaged the Christmas tree and its lights.

The council was concerned that the damage was irreparable, but builder Tim Rainford of Rainford Builders came to the rescue and after effecting repairs, Wimborne was lit up again in time for Christmas.
