Wise up on shotgun safety

DorsetPolice will be hosting another shotgun safety course on Saturday 11 April 2009.

The course takes place at Winfrith Technology Centre, near Dorchester and is aimed at responsible shotgun licence holders and those considering applying for a shotgun licence.

The purpose of the course is to increase the awareness and confidence of shotgun licence holders in terms of certificate procedures, gun and shooting safety tips, carriage of a gun and the legislation in place for licence holders.

The course lasts for four hours and costs £25 and covers a whole range of safety advice and information.
