Young people across Dorset are being given the chance to take over Dorset Police for the day – in support of ‘11 Million,’ the organisation run by the Children’s Commissioner.
All they have to do is answer a simple question on the Dorset Police website at www.dorset.police.uk The competition is open to everyone aged between 10 and 17 years old, this is a great opportunity to get involved in the policing of Dorset by shadowing a senior police officer for the day on Friday, 6 November.
Helen Brittain, Head of Youth Development at Dorset Police, said: “The day will provide a fantastic opportunity to gain an insight into how the force is run – and also give the winners a chance to have their opinions heard and give advice to senior officers.”
Four winners will be offered the chance of taking over Dorset Police, with one winner from each of the following age groups: 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17.
