Young poets encouraged
“Once more the talent and confidence of our young people have amazed me,” said retiring Wimborne Rotary President Howard Smith.
The annual poetry competition this year was with Lockyer’s Middle School, Corfe Mullen and the theme was 'School Day.'
Isabelle Klein 9 with 'School Day,' Eve McNeil 9 with 'Wake up Eve' and Chloe James with 'Teachers' were the winners. They were each presented with a certificate, trophy and a £25 gift token.
