Children learn about solar

School children were invited to find out how sun can provide a brighter future for all at Dorset’s newest solar farm.
The youngsters from St James’ Church of England First School in Alderholt were invited by renewable energy supplier Good Energy to take a tour of the solar farm it is currently building at the nearby Crossroads Plantation.

Organic straw and hay for small pets

It’s not often Steve Fowler managing director and founder of the expanding Verwood based pet store chain PamPurredPets has the chance to spend a day on a farm. The opportunity to do so followed a decision to stock Fair To Nature organic hay and straw within their 48 stores across southern England and Wales for small pets including rabbits and guinea pigs.
