Can he do it?

Dorset-based cabinet maker, Simon Owens is calling on residents and businesses in Dorset and the New Forest to help him raise £10,000 by 6 May to clean up the locality. He is asking people to donate as much as they can through Crowdfunding, a social fundraising website, to enable him to single-handedly embark on a three month mission as ‘The Professional Litter Picker’ to reduce the amount of rubbish that is scattered in the area.

Wimborne recycling centre closed until Friday

Wimborne household recycling centre (HRC) closed for three days this week for essential cleaning and maintenance. The Brook Road site shut on Tuesday and will re-open as usual at 9am on Friday 19 April.
