The charity wants a business partner to take on and develop its existing cafe, which serves the local area, plus cater for events, meetings and other bookings at its community centre in Weymouth.

The centre, on Radipole Lane, next to Weymouth Fire Station, welcomes thousands of visitors every year and has ambitious plans for future expansion.

SafeWise works in partnership with emergency services, local authorities and the commercial sector to provide innovative skills for life education to visitors of all ages in realistic full-size scenarios, including streets and houses, vehicles and more.

Ben Heath, centre manager, said, “We’re looking for a partner to work with us to run, improve and grow an innovative cafe and catering service at our SafeWise centre in Weymouth.

“It’s a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial caterer to make a real difference to both the local community, and the region the centre serves.

“With exciting development plans for both our innovative safety centre and conference offering, it’s a great time to get involved with the SafeWise charity.”
