Volunteering for Dorset Fire and Rescue
Since June 2009 DFRS has been running a successful volunteer scheme. Volunteers play a vital role in increasing the capacity of DFRS’ community safety activities which will include home safety checks, events and representing the service. Supported by Community Safety Task Teams, volunteers go out into the communities which they live in and conduct fire safety checks in the home.
DFRS is always on the look out for compassionate, enthusiastic, reliable volunteers. For more information please contact Nicky Jenkins on 01305 252698 or email volunteering@dorsetfire.gov.uk.
