Pupils at Hillside Community First School wore pyjamas and brought in their favourite bedtime story to help celebrate World Book Day on 2 March.
School uniform was swapped for pyjamas by the pupils and staff of Hillside Community First School in Verwood to help celebrate World Book Day.
The children were encouraged to come into school in their PJs and bring in their favourite bedtime story book. During the day, these stories were shared with friends and classmates and new authors were discovered by all.
As part of World Book Day, each child received a£1 book token, which they could spend at the school’s visiting Book Fair or at any participating retailer.
