Police are appealing to the public after a commercial burglary in Poole – with a CCTV image of the suspect being released.

The incident happened between 8.30am and 9.30am on Tuesday 12 May at Lush Manufacturers in Dawkins Industrial Estate on Dawkins Road.

A man gained access to the building and stole a wallet, belonging to a member of staff, from an office.

The offender was confronted by staff members as he exited the building but ran quickly to a vehicle, believed to be similar to a dark-coloured Rover.

An attempt to use a bank card was made later that day in Totton, Hampshire.

Police Constable Chris Maidment, of Poole police, said: “Following my enquiries, I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of the suspect.

“I urge anyone who recognises this man to contact me, in confidence, on 101.”

No arrests have been made.
