The centre has collected donations of essential items over the past few weeks, which have been distributed to the local community.

John Grinnell, Dolphin Shopping Centre manager, said, “We appreciate this Easter will be a difficult time for families within our local community. We know Easter eggs are not classed as an essential item, but we are thankful for customers’ support to provide families who wouldn’t otherwise have received an egg this Easter, to spread some community cheer. This period is incredibly stressful for many and we are humbled by the community support shown by the customers of Poundland.”

Deputy manager of Poole Foodbank, Alan Purchase, added, “We are extremely grateful to the customers of Poundland for their generous donation. We know just how much this will mean to many families across the county at this challenging time.”
