New commanding officers were installed at the Salvation Army in Verwood on 28 July 2013.

Captains Gia and Eka Salarishvili have been seconded from the Salvation Army in Georgia. They have two teenage daughters Katy and Mary and have been in the UK for around four years. Before arriving in Verwood, Gia and Eka had held appointments at the Southampton Schooling Corps and at Southern Division HQ. Moving from Southampton to Verwood has required a significant domestic change for the family and Katy and Mary will now continue their education locally.
